Sleeping in the lap of death,
I call out to my lost love.
My soul dissolving with every breath,
I plead the earth to bless my cove.
Flowing from head to toe,
I bathe in the virgin's blood.
Dying from my enemy's blow,
I dip my head in the holy flood.
Madness running every vein,
I shout out my lover's name
The self fading from my selfish brain,,
Her tainted image is what remains.
Sigh, Relief, Regret and Anger,
All the emotions a dying man feels.
I think and feel beyond my creator,
Eels, Reels, Heels, and Deals.
The story of my death remains a mystery,
Each role played by a different soul.
I will be forgotten in popular history,
But not by the souls who played their roles.
